About Us
Through the likes of Trevor Carney and Kimberly Gallego, College Station Yoga came into reality. The friends, and Bryan natives, saw the same vision for Bryan/College Station regarding yoga and it was through this vision that a new yoga studio was born. Our mission is to create a more prominent yoga community and provide the benefits of hot yoga for the first time to residents of the Brazos Valley. We look forward to seeing you in the studios and hearing how yoga has changed your life!
“Yoga is the giver of untold happiness.”

I’ve been an athlete my whole. I was on a pair of ice skates from the age of 4.
In college I was a member of both the 3-event water-ski team (slalom, jump, and trick) and snowboard team. I studied abroad in Costa Rica, Australia, Spain, Mexico, and Chile where I was a member of numerous sports teams and adventure clubs. I won the Chilean Wakeboard Nationals and took 2nd place in Argentina.
After graduating from College I moved to Florida and competed on the pro wakeboard tour. In 2004 I represented the United States at the Wakeboard Worlds in Seville, Spain and helped bring home the Team Gold. In 2007, I campaigned for the 2008 Olympics. I earned 6th in U.S Olympic Trails.
Yoga has always been a part of my life and has helped me achieve great heights in all aspects of life. I hope you also will discover the endless benefits of yoga and how it can help you life your life to the fullest. As I always say, “Dare to dream. Dare to achieve. Dare to Live”

I fell in love with yoga during my first class in the mid 1990s. What started out as a way to decrease physical tension and pain gradually led to a more mental practice. These days, it’s not just the physical postures helping me through life. I also continue my practice “off the mat” on a daily basis in the way that I carry myself through the world both in strength and flexibility, ever mindful that it’s progress not perfection that counts.
I began teaching yoga to children in 2006 after training with Shakta Kaur Khalsa Radiant Child Yoga Program. They are natural yogis and teach me to stress less and giggle more. In 2007 I began teaching yoga to adults and became certified in 2009 after training with Lex Gillan at The Yoga Institute. I continue my education and deepen my practice by attending various workshops, retreats, and trainings each year and have had the opportunity to practice with many wonderful teachers.
My yoga classes are intuitively guided and tailored to meet the needs of the students I’m practicing with. My goal is to pass on my love of yoga and empower my students to use this ancient practice to heal their mind, body, and spirit. Classes include pranayama, asana, meditation, and relaxation and are light hearted and fun! I hope to see you on the mat soon!
